    Emotional Intelligence Work Skills

    Program Details

    When: December 1 - January 19 (Zoom sessions from 10AM - 12PM on December 1, December 15, January 5, and January 19.)

    Format: Bi‐weekly sessions to discuss content with mentoring sessions throughout (Mentors will be provided to participants by each sponsoring employer, or can be provided by Shippensburg University if requested)

    Who Should Enroll: Any worker looking to grow their leadership potential through emotional intelligence (the cohort will be made up of both Shippensburg University staff and workers in our region for cross-collaboration opportunities)  

    Learning Outcomes: Develop important emotional intelligence skills, adapt those skills to business practices and self-improvement, and make personal adjustments in behavior in line with course content. 

    Content will specifically focus on developing the following skills in the context of emotional intelligence:

    • Self-Awareness
    • Self‐Management
    • Relationship Management
    • Empathy
